It's kinda cold in the last few weeks, so I give the heated seats in my GS430 another try, and to my surprise, the heated seats suddenly work! Now I really believe that the heated seats somehow links to the outside temp.

Same here. They've really come to life in the last few weeks. I leave them on year round, and they do not work in the summer. Like I said above, I suppose it's possible that you just don't feel them working in the summer because the car is hot inside anyway, but I really don't think so.

One drive up here to Chicago & you'll never turn them off! LOL

 

my driver side works perfect, but the passenger side is weird.. i thought it broke cuz it didnt heat up for a couple months now, but yesterday i accidentally switched it on, and it heated up.. weird.
