I don't think so. We all usually have something on our cars that we saw somewhere else. Doesn't mean we're copy cats imo. Go for it. I like it.

hmm, it might be overkill to have it posted all over your car imo. I'm not sure on that one.

 

I put on the V8 bdges on the 1/4's as well. Looks sweet!
Got them from the dealer for $30 each. They are for the GX, the "font/style" is a pefect match to the stock badges.

I did this mod back in 2002, so I can't remember much except I bought it on E-bay and it was for a 80's Ford truck. I picked it because the styling was close to my RMM logo on the right side. I remember someone in FL pm'd me about it a while ago, so I see the trend has spread slowly but surely.

Please excuse the Blue "L" logo, I was experimenting back then.


Here's a more current pic with the trim bezel, plate frame and V8 emblem now re-finished to dark chrome & Black "L" Logo.



There are a bunch of nice emblems on E-bay right now. My only word of caution is to check the dimensions. A lot of those truck emblems are way too big and will look like you took them off of a truck.

Hey Glen, what tips or exhaust is on your car?

They just look so nice and meaty! Not too big but bigger than the tips I have on my L-tuned exhaust.

 

Wow.. I missed this thread for a minute. I like the v8 emblems Rmm posted. Go with those. If you can find some online for an AMG Mercedes, that would be great too. The AMG v8 emblems are suttle & classy.

 

I am thinking about picking up a set of BMW V8 emblems for my fenders.
