Dexter - I considered Momo and Razo metal shift *****, but realized they WILL BURN YOU (literally, physically) in the summer months. Caveat emptor.

Yep - thought about that; I got an IS the other day when I had a TSB done, and it had that SS or polished alum **** and it was kinda nice.

The trouble I'm having is finding one that looks 'at home' in the GS.

Thoughts?

Yup, I saw all those at NOPI... I even took off the existing **** to try to figure out how much lower a new Momo **** might sit (which I wanted), but I concluded it wouldn't really be lower since the rod is very tall and goes just about to the tip of the stock **** as well.

It was a sunny day and the Momo ***** were on display outside and hotter than hell. Granted they might be a BIT cooler inside the car, but probably still way too hot. AND cold on a winters day - I decided to pass.

Good luck though.

Did they look good in the GS? Obviously, if you considered them.... Which one did you see / like?

Hmmm. A hack saw, a dollup of epoxy.....yea, that'll do it.

Thumbs up

I have something like the second picture. However, instead of wood colour, I have brush metal. The two rings are grey leather on my shift ****. I think it looks amazing with the rest of the interior. The overall height is slightly lower than the stock.

I wasn't able to try them on my GS - I couldn't take them from the store.

From a looks standpoint I liked one like the first pic you posted. I also really liked the brushed aluminum ball type (same shape as the second one you posted). The one GS T.O mentioned is very cool looking.

I think you've picked the best two shapes, but I don't know what it really would be like.
