I got a SC400 (95) engine from JamesN since he did a 2JZGTE swap on his SC and I just transfer everything over from this engine into the 2uzfe block.
Here are the specs of the shortblock:
Block: Tundra 2UZFE 4.7 Iron block
Crank: 1uzfe crank
Main: 4 bolt main from 1uzfe VVTi conversion
Rods: Lextreme Lightning H Beam Rods with L19 ARP bolts
Pistons: Custom Ross forged 8.5:1 Compression
Pins: Heavy duty Ross pins
Rings: Total Seal heavy duty custom rings
Bolts/Studs: ARP 11 mm main bolts (4 per main)
Head Studs: 7/16" drilled and taped

With all that work, why did'nt you bore or stroke that thing a little ?
And what are you using for cams ?
You don't even have a SC to put it in yet. I'll test it out in my SC if you want. Or if you need to get rid of it fast, I'll give you back $ what you gave JamesN for it.

Stroking the crank will cost an additional $1,000 and I didn't want to spend that type of money. 3.70" bore is pretty big already and not much room left for boring. So I just stay stock and increase boost instead. I want to have a strong bottom end. Boring will weaken the block and stroking is a complex engineering and anyone selling more then 3.5" stroke (stock is 3.31" for the 2UZFE) you should ask them alot more questions about rod clearance, compression height, rod length and counter weight clearance.

Yes, 3UZFE is 6 bolt main, but 2uzfe on have two bolt main. So I used a 98 VVTi 1uzfe main on the 2uzfe block. Due to the 2uzfe block configuration we couldnt fully utilized 6 bolts (side bolts that is) so we stay with 4 bolts instead.
The 2uz is different from 1uz in the engine mount position. So I made a special engine mount housing that is a direct bolt on to the SC400.

Yep... I noticed it but I didn't want to create a new thread. Has anyone done this to the GS? I know he has done it with an SC.
The dyno number he posted seems less than having SS headers and intake. Maybe because it's low compression. It's also been a while so finding a 4.7 block is much easier and cheaper.
