Yes you can bake and separate. Do a search on this topic. There are numerous threads. I think this is getting off topic from this original post, so PM me if you have more Q's.

Thanks for all the positive comments. I was hoping you guys would like a good writeup on retrofitting the GS headlights. I'm going to post up more retrofit DIY's soon using different projectors.

Nope, just reused the original glue. Heat it up first and push all the glue back into the seams. This will create a nice watertight seal. You can add additional sealant if you want, but it's not really necessary.

I gotta agree with you though. First time retrofit stinks, and you only get better at it. My TSX retro was okay, but meh..not something I was happy with..Then came the LS430 projectors and the rest was history
Yeah, retrofitting is an art and skill. You just gotta keep doing it over and over...eventually you get better. How's are the LS430 projectors on your car? I love the wide beam output and cutoff on those

The two wires are for the Bi-xenon solenoid. Basically a motor that pulls down the shield so the low beam turns into a high beam projector. The two wires are hooked up to the high beam connector. As for the relay harness, I'll post up a DIY whenever I make another set.

I think he's referring to one of the DIY's on my page. The one on: How to install ambient lighting. It was actually cliffud that did that writeup. I just added it to my site.

Adam2562, You can delete your own post. Just hit the edit button and there's an option to delete the post.

As for the HID in fogs, yeah I did that. I went the lazy route and just put a HID kit in there. I'll eventually get around to retrofitting a HID projector in there as well. For your setup, are you retrofitting a set of RX330 projectors into the fog? Only reason I ask is because I dont think the RX projectors will fit. They're pretty tall and they probably wont fit unless you make bulges in the fog housing. I believe they're 2.5" lenses.

Instead, I would recommend the 350Z pre-06 projectors because They're the smallest projectors avaiable on the market. I believe the lens is 1" on those.
