01 LTuned GS430 Good Buy?
I joined this forum to help make a decision on weather to buy a 2001 GS430 with the Ltune package. I'm not too familiar with Lexus in general, and was hoping someone can help me out with the details of what is included in the Ltune package. Also if 20,000 is a good price for this car with around 80k miles? Any comments or suggestions would be great.

Condition is going to matter more than the miles. Was the car taken care of well (dealer or solid independent)? Are the records available for review? Is the car really clean? You should get it checked out before you buy and run carfax (as this is easy and a good way to throw out total loser cars).
I'd say the price might be a bit in the high side. I recently got a super clean, Lexus certified 01 430 with 47k for $22,500. I would think you could find something similar to what you are looking at for close to 18. Check out AutoTrader and Craigslist to see what is available in your area in terms of price. These can be tough to find though in certain areas. It took me about 4 months to find the right one for me.

It is a little high. BUt once you count in the mods, meaning springs, shocks, side molding, and installation, it kinda comes out close. Unless your not planning on dong that kind of thing.
BUt i Would say that car is worth about 17K if it werent for the L-tuned. (im assuming it has navi.)
Edit: L-tuned package includes:
Side moldings, exhuast, Ltuned steering ECU, shocks, springs, 18inch wheels, badges, and sometimes front grille. A $7K option when new.
