Do they get brighter when you step on the brake?

 

from the pics, they dont' seem to get brighter. O well, who needs them when you got the 2 lights in the center to brighten up the person behind you =D

Yes they do get brighter, but for some reason the picture isn't picking it up

 

also from the pics..the LEDS do not seem to be ALL lit up...like some bulbs are missing...is this just the angle?

so guys.. check this idea out... i seen the JP tail lights.. and i saw these(not in person). personally i think this outer lens on the lights is molded where the JPs are hand made.. oem bottom cut and very precise cut and trimmed and glued.. so any way

my idea
buy these... get a hold of a oem 2001+ or whatever it is newer tail light and swap the outer covers... and violah.. JP tails. without the LED.
which is the main reason i would do this ... and i think the LED'/s look no so great.. ... hmm hmm whatcha think

i just picked up a pair. i've been waiting for something similiar in the price range for a while. i never really like the thicker clear section on the bottom like the carsons...

now i just need some matching inners...

you guys find that yet?

 

I'm waiting for the inners to come down in price or hopefully pop up on ebay for a great deal. Until then I can't justify spending $200 for these

ummm, interesting to see more new products. the light patten doesn't look too good though imho, doesn't look as "regular". by comparison i would choose the carson one over it in terms of the light pattern

 

yeah, doesnt look as bright, but i think it might look different in person. i just like how the clear is a thinner..

the price is enticing though..

 

There are many more LEDs in these things, filling out the lens better. I originally thought this would look better, but have come to like the rear view of my car, with the more 'sinister' look of the Wise/Carson LED pattern.
