Default GS 430 L-Tuned Wheels

Does anybody have pictures of the 2002 GS 430 L-Tuned wheels? I maybe be able to get a set of these wheels for pretty cheap, but I am not sure what they look like. The owner doesnt have pictures, and he lives about an hour out from me. I don't want to take a trip for wheels I am not going to like.

They are 18s. So they are probably the ones in the top picture. Do you know what size they are? 18x8? I know that the rears are a little bit wider.

I have the L-Tuned OZ Super Turismos like the 2nd red GS picture, they are 17". Nice looking wheel but a little difficult and time consuming to clean.

Does anybody know the paint code or exact color for these wheels, it says bright or light silver but I would like to know where you can get some touch up spray as I have some curb rash and would like to repair it. I have called a couple places Tirerack/Lexus and even emailed OZ headquarters, Tirerack and nobody seems to know the exact color of these wheels or what to paint them with, even the wheel manufacturer claims they don't know

have an alloy wheel repair place do the curb rash repair. They will grind down, fill, and paint back to brand new. The place that does it near me actually comes to you in a truck, dismounts the tire, does the repair, and remounts the tire right in your driveway, for about $75 a wheel, and they look brand new.

I would rather save the money and do it myself and I don't know the reputation of the places around here, I have curb rash on 2 rims and know how to do it from researching, I just don't know what the color match paint is. I will probably end up scraping my rim in the future again so I would just rather be able to do it myself instead of paying $75-$100 for each wheel each time. There has to someone out there that knows the color or a color very very close if wheel repair places can do it.

Not sure of the paint code but the color for the L-Tuned 18' wheels is New Millennium Silver. Here's a copy of the press release from L-Tuned for the introduction of the line.

http://www.lexus.com/about/news/arti...0000809_1.html

I do find it interesting how small the tire sizes are for the L-Tuned. They are actually out of spec and will cause your speedometer to read incorrectly. The correct tire sizes are 245/40-18 and 275/35-18.

Thanks for that information, I am now hopefully one step closer to getting the color to match my wheels. Mine are the 17" L tuned OZ Super Turismos. I will look around for New Millenium Silver. It is odd how Lexus, Tirerack, or OZ could not give just a simple name for the color of the rims but I get it on CL. Thanks again

When I had to get one wheel repaired, 2 different shops were not able to match the paint. I ended up buying one new wheel. I know it is harder to do that now with the wheel being discontinued. As for the tire specs, the ones on the L-Tuned wheels work too. There were even variations between the specs for the OEM 16s and 17s. I am sure Lexus had some buffered tolerances as I can't imagine them tuning the odo/speedo for the different tire sizes they offered.

.

Millennium Silver is one of the colors the kits were available in, not the wheel color.
