The seller is K2Motor. He shipped out pretty quick too. I think I might of gotten lucky though because I don't see any 4 piece tails on ebay at all anymore. One question: Does this set of lights trip the "Rear Light Out" light on the dash?

I know some sets have cause the dash light to come on and some have not. Just checking on what has been your experience with these.

Yes, the inners will set off the light. The outers will not. I tested each separately and those were my results. The outer ones have load resistors to draw more power so the car thinks the normal bulb is in (that cures the bulb out indicator). However, that defeats one of the big selling point of LED's which is to use less power and generate less heat! The inner set does not have the load resistors simply because there is no room in there to mount the bulky piece. So in short, the outers will not set it off but the inners will. Either way it's not a problem for me because I've removed the indicator bulb from my dash

As for the License plate LED's. Those are 194 5-LED wedge bulbs. It's pretty common and easy to find on ebay. Just do a search for "194 LED" and you should have plenty to choose from.

 

Yap I thought it was just my lasic surgery but the other day I was following my wife and I was watching the LED blinker and stop light on our bimmer and finally she made a right turn and I did make a left to drop off the kids to school. Minutes later, I can still see a streak of LED lights on my windshield as if they were heads up display.

 

 

I've been searching Ebay. Damn it Jeff..... You are lucky! I will probably wait around for 6 months or so for the price to come down again. These lights will be ALL over Ebay in the future so the price is bound to come down.... even on inners and outers.
