Default People with VeilSide K1 kit please help.

Hello Guys.

Yesterday I had a flat tire due to a screw in the tire so I tried to take off my wheels. I jacked up the car, and when the rear tire drops lower, it rubbed against the rear edge of my sideskirt. I had to have someone help me hold the sideskirt in place in case it breaks.

I thought it was because my PIAA 18" wheels are bigger in diameter than the proper spec. Then I tried to put on my spare tire (stock size, 225/60/16), same thing happens, it rubs against the side skirt. ODD.

So Now I have to be very careful when I need to remove the rear wheels. Could someone tell me what's going on? Should I jack both sides of the rear up? But technically that wouldn't help because both tires will be fully dropped.

Thanks Tommy! My brother also recommended jacking up the arm as well.

Actually I brought it to my local America's Tire, and the guy was smart enough to know that it might ruin the side skirts so he asked if I wanted to hold the kit or something. Maybe because I go there often

Is this a VeilSide design flaw? That seems very odd.
