+1 me too, just not worth getting hassle for by the cops, but I do like tinted windows on my vehicles.

I've done that exact same thing on 2 previous cars and gotten a fix-it ticket both times. I think I'm just gonna do 35% on the GS; little better chance of avoiding the hassle. I found a loophole up here that I can get away with tint on any luxury car but I still don't feel like getting pulled over all the time.

Before you take it off, check your local statutes for the legal definition of a limousine, in MN it doesn't say anything about special registration, just a "luxury passenger vehicle that carries less than 13 passengers" something like that. Nothing that says my GS isn't a limo and therefore exempt from tint laws. If RI has something similar, it might be worth a shot fighting the ticket before you take it off.

yeah, only problem is RI is pretty strict about their laws...your windows are supposed to transmit 70% of visible light. I should have just done 35% which i'll eventually end up putting back on, the 20 i guess in combo with the black car, who knows. I know in RI they require a limo to be driven by someone with a chauffer's license, which i don't have haha. I don't really have much defense for the ticket so i'll just get it removed. Only cost me 125 in the first place.

Tints? As in different tint shades on each window?

My brother (GSing430) has always had his ride without tint, which sparkles so nice during the day! Also, my friend Samson (StockGS400) has a very clean GS and removed his %5 tint all around (haha) and I would say it looks amazingly better now without the tint. Both of which are slammed and flushed on HRE and Works, including nice body kits. I plan on possibly removing mine.

I personally like tint. I removed the stock tint and had them redone. When they removed the tint, it looked strange. I personally like having tint on all my cars.

no tint, just don't like the way it looks, unless it is a black color, but then not even always

I wouldn't have tint but in Arizona it is a necessity more than a cosmetic upgrade.

Default Does Tint have affect on NAVI reception

I read in the onwers manual that tint will affect the reception of the navigation system, Has anyone had a problem with this ? Any advice on type and percentage of tint to use would be appreciated!
