Yeah, maybe they'd make an exception since I have Nevada plates, but I'm planning on moving to Cali in a little over a year.

i have 35% on my side windows here in minnesota, the law is 50%. in a year...i have gotten 3-4 tint tickets !!!
My buddy has 15% on the sides and 5% on the front, his is350 is gunmetal. at shows we sit inside and people walk by saying i wonder if there is anybody in there lol its funny. anyways he has a prescription for it, eventhough he gets pulled over almost everyday. they dont ticket him, but i dont think its worth getting pulled over EVERYDAY almost just to look good.

Yeah, Nevada is nowhere near as strict as Minnesota. I have friends driving around with 20% and they don't get bothered. I went by a tinting shop, and he made a suggestion that made sense.

My car currently has 55% on the front windows, and 35% on the rear windows. He suggested I put 40% on top of these tints, and he showed me what it looked like. I was satisfied. I think I'm going to get just normal tint, not the nano tint.

What exactly is the difference between "nano tint" and "normal tint"?
I really want to get my front windshield tinted to 50%....but it would only make my tint look darker and give the police another reason to pull me over.

-Things i get pulled over for in minnesota: No front plate, Window tint, Car being too low LOL, Big HKS exhaust that isnt even that loud compared to HUGE HICK TRUCKS lol.

Nano Tint is a ceramic tint that keeps your car a lot cooler on the inside than normal tint. It would come in handy during the hot Nevada summers

Oh nice. Good to know how each % looks in the pics. I am considering the ceramic as it get's really hot here in Southern Cali. I don't have garage space for my GS, so, need to protect the well kept interior. Plus it's black and will absorb more heat than not.

I, also, think silver exterior and dark windows looks elegant.

Yeah, but ceramic tint costs about twice as much as normal window tint. If you're on a budget, go with a metallized normal tint. It is good at keeping heat out, but it'll run you about halft the price of nano tint.

Here's a pic of the new tinting on my car. It's hard to tell with the reflection of the sky, but you can see that it's darker to see than what I originally had. This is about a 25% tint.

and I wanted a pic like this before I tinted so I hope this will help someone.

15% is perfect. Dark enough yet bright enough to drive at night.

sorry for the crappy pics.
Does anyone happen to know what kind of rims those are?

35% on sides, 20% on the very bak window. Car had 20s all round before, but i was turning purple so i removed it with a steamer, rear came off in one piece, with the glue to. Defrosters still work perfectly. Now i just have to decide whether i want to put the sport design badges back on

I got new fresh tint. I went with Huper Optik. 35% on the front and 5% on the back and rear. I'm loving the privacy and the heat rejections.

Dark enough to look good, but not get attention from the police, since 35% is the maximum tint you're allowed.
