Arrow is this a good price?

hello guys,
i am going to look at a 99GS400 with 65000 miles. and the owner wants $18500 for it. it has NAVI. is this a good price? the car is in really good condition.

any input will help.

sounds a touch high too me....... check edmunds, I trust their numbers the most.

I agree, sounds too high unless it has a lot of performance modifications. KBB Private Party w/nav has it hovering around $16,000 + or - depending on condition. If you have $18,500 to spend and can afford a little more, you should be able to find a $20,000-$22,000 2001 GS 430 with the newer motor and some cosmetic upgrades that came in '01, might be a better investment (it's a car, I use the term loosely, LOL). Good luck.

Edit: Check out the Classifieds section on Club Lexus, owners on here are into their cars. For example, Dlomonosov's car is a great deal and even less than the one you are looking at. https://www.clublexus.com/forums/sho...d.php?t=236689 Mileage is not a big deal on these cars, the engines and transmission are nearly bullet proof.

too much... u might find a 01 with higher milage for that price...
