Default GS300 replacement tires

I need new tires for my 2003 GS3 (16"). Can anyone suggest a good set (not ultra high performance... just a good everyday set.) I'm in Southern California.

Thanks!

Look into General Exclaim UHP tires, maybe the best bang for buck if you aren't into or feel you don't need a high performance tire. I have them on my stock rims and they quiet, grip well and do fine in the rain. The only real downside I found is that the sidewall is a little soft, that makes for a soft ride, but when taking sharp corners at high speeds you will feel the tire "roll" slightly, for lack of a better word. Check out Tirerack.com and read the customer reviews linked to them and you will find 9 out of 10 reviews to be very good. Do not be scared away by their low price, they are actually pretty good. Also, with all the money you save on your tires you can buy more mods for you GS. Good luck!
