Riiiiimz on the Gee Essss!!
I wanna throw some rimz on my '02 GS300.
I want no smaller than 20" and I want the tires to be skinny and clean lookin. I'm one of the idiots that don't care and all I want is big and bling and preferrably cheap. Whats the cheapest route I could go with 20s or 22s including tires?
I know some of you may disagree with the style but please help me out. Thanks

First of all 22" wont fit so you can forget about that. Second, if you just want cheap, and big, (and unfortunatly alot of times ugly) 20" wheels. The best place is ebay. You should be able to find a et for under $1000 pretty easily and have a selection. When you have a cheaply made wheel, on low profile tires don't say no one warned you about bends and cracked wheels. You get what you pay for.

It's not so much that the 22's won't fit. You can get them to fit. However, the 22's DO NOT flow right with the car. The size of the rims are too big for the GS. 20's are perfect. 20's are what you want.
As for pricing, already said, you get what you pay for. EBay is the cheapest spot to get them, but the quality may not be worth it. Take my advice. Wait a little, save up some more money, shoot a PM to D2AutoSport and he'll help you select the right wheels for the right price.
Don't try and save money when you spend it on the car, especially the GS . Wait until you're fully prepared to make the move and then ask around to get the right wheels. Trust me. It'll be worth it when you've got people looking left and right, slowing down on the road, and just looking dazed at your car because the rims are just perfect with it.

Anything more than 20's is really not a good idea. As far as the "bling" goes each to his own but in my opinion too much just degrades the GS's looks and body style. It's your car, do what makes you happy but don't expect rave reviews from most CL members.

cheap will bring you problems like highway vibrations and cracks and bends...
22" will bring you rubbing and a "unique" look.
You can tell the opinions of members here since you already know what were going to say...
I dont think I even know where to get those "bling" rims your talking about...
so good luck, and make sure you DONT post pics... for god sake were only human!

Yea after lookin at the pictures of 22s it does look just A BIT silly...
Whats the LEAST amount I could spend on 20s and tires without sacraficing serious quality?

Just remember that the cheaper rims will not be up to the quality and strength of a higher cost rim (you get what you pay for concept). It will bend or crack more easily over potholes and such. But, look at it on the bright side though....you can buy 3 sets of the cheap rims for the cost on a set of good ones
You're less likely to care if you get a little bend or some curb rash VS someone who just spent 3-4G's on wheels. I know I would **** myself if that happend with a set of expensive wheels lol
