Default What if someone wants daytime running lights?

I have read a lot of posts about people wanting to disable the daytime running light feature.

I have a '98 that does not have DRL and actually like them. Is there a way to get them on my vehicle that was not equiped?

yes you can henry. All you need is an aftermarket DRL module and wire it up.

I'd be interested in finding a write-up on how to accomplish this. I'd prefer the DRL's myself.

You can always drive with "park" lights on. If those are too low, just turn the headlamps on.

Remember to double lock when you exit.

That's illegal in most areas.

For the original poster.. here's what you're looking for
http://www.hamsar.com/drlkits.htm

I dont know how to wire it up for our cars since i never did it (I have DRLs)

But my friend got an aftermarket module (not from the link I provided) for an Accord with JDM headlights.
Few wires to connect. Looked like Power, Headlight signal, and a wire to parking brake.

That might do the trick. Thanks!

No one here had done this mod? I'd love to hear from someone that has done it. I have a '05 4Runnder without DRL's and it is an easy mod by replacing one relay in the fusebox with one from an '06. Doesn't sounld like this is as easy.
