Please forgive me if this may be a waste of a thread.. but I'm new to this lexo thing (and LOVING it btw). i just spent about an hour going through the "hidden features" thread, and took a look at my cabin filter. I don't think it was ever changed... from the looks of the circled part it looks like a rodent tried to eat their way through. never did find the sucker, neither does it smell like he's somewhere in the car.. just thought i'd share my findings and introduce myself somehow..

Welcome to CL, just got my GS400 as well so I need to do my little intro... Hope you got that sucker changed, that is pretty dirty looking

 

When i checked my about 2 years ago it looked just like that, the original owner obviously never messed with it. I put in a blitz filter and it made a huge difference as far as air quality goes

 

That looks familiar, mine was just as bad. Minus the chewed away rodent escape route.

 

is it weird that I could tell you were in fl just by that pic?

 

How did you figure that, the leaves?

 

yeah-the leaves and pine needles and that fuzzy stuff that comes from the oaks.
