I love my saddle leather interior and it was one of the big reasons I purchased my car. There's the obvious factors such as resale value, reliability, but the saddle to me is a unique touch and is usually seen on vehicles that cost twice as much. The fact that others dont care for it, only make me like it more. Either way, love it or hate it, when someone new gets in my car, it's a conversation piece...

my only complaint is if lexus decided the headunit and ac control face should be silver, they should have gotten rid of that wood trim near the shifter and replace it with silver too. That would blend better IMO. How does the back seat look like? I've never seen the back before.

You've got a valid point there... I always wondered why they did the silver radio/climate controls, I mean the obvious reason was to be different than the standard GS, but you are right, it could have flowed better with if the entire center section was silver or just kept it black... does not really matter anyway, after I get my aftermarket nav unit, I am going to buy a used climate control and probably paint it gloss black to match the avic unit... keep the silver radio and climate control boxed up safely just in case I want to return the vehicle to stock form...

I LOOOOOVVVEEEE the saddle interior. Saw one here in the bay with >30K on it but they wanted almost 30 g's for it Did the 430 come in a saddle interior??? That's what i WANT!!!!

I've got a Silver 02 Sport Design. It doesn't have Navi (which is better cause I park on the street and it would be stolen) and the ****tiest thing is that it does NOT have heated seats! I have seen a few others without heated seats. My only understanding is maybe since the car is from Florida and was a company lease they didn't want to shell out the extra bucks for the heated seats? I could use them here in Chicago, but I can live.

I have had mine for a few months now and didn't know anything about GSs really till I got mine. I know I wanted a silver GS300. I didn't know I had a special one till I researched the SPORT DESIGN. I think the blackwood is the BEST wood grain ever! The only things I don't like is the how the seats are perforated, and how the wheel doesn't have matching wood trim.
