I understand, my bad.
I went to the my old mechanic this morning. the brake pads and rotors job he's going to do it for ~400bucks - Brembo rotors at that. He's also calling Lexus to get an estimate on the parts included in the tune up.
The service rep never got back to me since Monday. I called her up today and she says at that the belts can wait another 9K miles (90K). She says that what needs to be done now, aside from brakes, is the Neutral Safety Switch that's causing a fluid to leak and thus causing the idle problems and the car stalling and turning off. She says if that isn't changed then the car will have problems starting.
Additionally, the Transpan and throttle body need to be replaced, apparently. I told this information to my mechanic and he's like, 'what does that have to do with the car stalling and turning off?'
So i'm waiting for a call back from my service rep to arrange for a pickup of my GS4 and take it straight to my mechanic.
