Default My car wouldnt start this morning. Can it be cold related?

Last night the temperatures dropped to the mid-upper 20's here in the Bay Area. This morning, i go to turn on my GS300 at around 10am and it wouldnt start. It kinda wanted to but wouldnt and just kept clicking. SO i bring my other car, connect the jumper cables, it does the same thing. Then i gased the GS when it would half-start and die and that helped start it.

When it started, the check engine light, VSC off and VSC lights came on. About 30mintues later, they all shutoff. I went and had my battery/alternator/starter/etc checked and everything came back fine.

Does anyone know what this can be related to OR has anyone experienced this problem before?

It's weird that everything came back ok, the car starts now yet this morning it wouldnt.

just going off of the need for you to depress the gas pedal, I might guess the TPS. (throttle position sensor)

There shoudl be a code left over in your ECU that a shop could pull for you if they were nice enough.

So replacing that sensor might work?

I'll have a autoshop take a look at it thursday but wanted some feedback as to maybe anyone might know.

I did have to gas it while turning to help it stay on.

eh...just may have been cold enough to require a little throttle to start...strange though cause it gets pretty cold around here ,in the teens, and mine would still start.

Thanks for your input, guys.

I actually towed it the last time it happened...of course it started for the mechanic. It happened again this morning, but I got it started.
