Jumplead

Can any of you guys help me with a small issue?

The drivers door lock rod that connects the mechanism to the actuator has dropped off, but because of my shovel sized hands I can't seem to clip this back in.

I got the door panel off thanks to some direction from Stoner, but I just can get the rod back in the clip. Am I missing some simple trick here?

I hope I don't have to take the door to pieces…

Any help would be appreciated
