Exclamation Grinding Sound from underneath the car

So I take my 98 GS 300 to the dealership today because this grinding sound from underneath the car started happening in the last few weeks. I get there and the service rep told be it was a "B' pipe that connects to the exhaust manifold was rusted and it would just rattle from underneath. The car is originally from up north as I live in florida so the cold weather along with the salt and ice did not help out at all. Has and one experienced this problem before?

I can imagine the salt and cold doing that. But this is almost good news. Some headers would be quite sexy
