I'm out of town right now and the car is actually at Lexus as we speak getting the new fender liner installed. I checked the tire size a few times and it would the approved size for the car, the dealer checked as well. Sorry I do not know the size from memory, but it was the approved/recommended size.

i had the same problem with my 99 gs when i took the shock assby off the shocks were gone it didnt even stay up.. if you push down it stay there so in stead of stock i lower my car with sustec springs and kyb shocks and went with 20's it rubs a little only when i hit really bad road so my guess would be your shocks bad!

sounds like bad shocks then. I know when I took out my old shocks, they were dead. I replaced the shocks and I didn't have any rubbing issues.
