Yea pop off the carpet cover behind the truck. I bought a cheap $7 clip remover from a auto store. It's a good investment because it works really well and you won't end up breaking the clips. It might be kind of heard if you have an 01+ with the emergency trunk release. I had this and I ended up leaving the cover on. I just opened it to the point where I could see the bulb harness and removed them. Be careful when removing the bulbs. One of them slipped out of my hand and ended up slipping into this cavity in my trunk. It was impossible to remove it now I have to live with the sound of it moving around everytime I open/close my trunk.

Where did you get one of those from? I used pliers and a lot of patience to get those damn clips off. And the sucky thing about too is that there is like ten or so of those clips that need to come off. I tried to save myself the aggravation by not taking all them off at first but it was not possible to reach the bulbs that way.
