Buying an 02 GS3. at the dealer now. Adivce.
Whats up guys?
Im thinking about picking up an 02 GS3, might trade my 98 GS3 for it. Just wanted to know what is fair price for both cars
My 98 GS3 has 115000K miles, Base.
Looking to pick an 02 GS3 Base with 46K
Thanks
update
So here is the deal. Please let me know what you think.
I trade my GS in for $8000. Before you go "oh thats low" consider this. It needed both spindles, Right side speed sensor, Right conrol arm, timing belt, trans service and other minor stuff like interior detailing.
I got the 02 for 21,500
02 GS is in almost perfect condidtion. Its Certified car.
Im happy.

I'm looking at an official used car market guide aka a "Black Book" and it indicates that a 2002 GS3's value is as follows:
X-cln. 20,400
clean. 19,400
average. 17,000
rough. 14,000
Add 200 for navigation.
Hope that helps. 80% of dealers give average money for a trade. I know, I used to be a GSM. Btw, that's the value for last weeks guide as they come out weekly. Take care, Mike

methodical is right. And theyll definitly steal your trade so keep fighting till theres no fight left. Im a manager myself for a Toyota dealership.
If people are telling you to get the gs400 or 430 instead, dont worry. Do what makes you happy. Remember the gs4 and 430 are more pricey.
I bought my gs300 with 40K miles/1owner and bought it cause it was a KILLER deal.
