buying 05"gs430
hey peps i'm interested in buying the gs430. whats the difference btween the 02-05 all post are helpful.

'02 got an update in the navi, '03 got proforated steats, and new style wheels (GS430 only). And some more color options as the years progressed.

Nav gen update. The '01 navi, and '02 navi is different slightly. I believe the '01 is a 2nd gen, and '02-5 being a gen 3.

Thanks. I guess if you want Nav, it is better to look into the 02s vs the 01s.

ok what about power and tech specs. is it true that the big difference is that the 430 comes with a sports package, stiffer springs, speed sensitive steering??

some say the GS430 comes with the same steering ecu that was sold as the L-tuned ecu before 2001 but nobody knows for sure.
the suspension is the same.

I completely agree with you on this one. I could do without the wood steering wheel, though (no offense, my GS430 brethren).
