Default 01 Gs430???

Hey everybody...newbie here..just sold my E46 and was looking at a blk/blk 01 GS 430 with 72K miles, navigation...$18,000 OBO..I really dont know much about Lexus but heard they run for ever...Do you think this is a good deal or should I keep shopping...

Depending on condition (paint, leather, ...), on the surface, that seems like a good deal.

Try to see if you can take it to your local dealership and have them check it out. You might have to spend money upfront but it's better a 100 bucks or so now than thousands later.

sounds like a good deal to me but if it says 18000 or OBO as you stated, i would suggest you still try to squeeze a few thousands off

thanks guys...it says 18 obo so im gonna bring cash and see what kinda deal I can get...its between this one and a silver 03 GS430 49k miles...23,900...what do you think is the better deal..

Depending on your budget the silver 03 sounds pretty good as well.. Newer car, less miles, silver is always a plus.. Than again you can find really good deals on a GS with just a few more miles.. If you can knock off some money off the 18k than you have room to work with if you want to start modding.. Don't say your not going to mod because its going to happen trust me.. LOL GL

I would say go for the 2001. Save yourself some money, the higher mileage is not really an issue. That's almost $6 grand less which you can put towards the car or even a warranty and have money left over.
