Where Have People Mounted their SAFC/SAFC2?
Like the title states, where have/are people mounting their SAFC1 and SAFC2s in GS's? I am about to add the Apexi RSM and the SAFC1 and would like to mount them somewhere that would look trick and as close to factory as possible. My head installer has a pretty good idea, but I'd like to see pics of where other members have mounted theirs. Thanks.

I would love to see where some guys have put them aswell. I haven't done anything special yet, I have the afc2 avcr boost controller and and turbo timer just thrown in my glovebox for now..

the only space I can see that would fit is if you remove your ashtray and make a custom mount/board.
OR if you can make a custom pop up mount at the cup holder.
It would sit flush when closed. When you want to view/adjust it, just push on it and it'll pop up and turn facing you.. Just a thought.

Tomorrow I will have my installer start on a ashtray/lighter replacement bezel for the SAFC2/RSM and post pics when done. It may take him a few days as it will be done on the side when he is not working on customer cars. I just wanted to see the quality of some other custom installs.

We actually got alot more progress than I thought today. I decided to jump in and do it on my own since my installer was bery busy. Unfortunately I did not see a way where I could just make a bezel that would bolt or stick in the ashtray unit so I had to cut the ashtray apart, but it will be even better this way. I just applied the first layer of bondo around the outside of it and I am going to be molding the RSM into the ashtray unit and then painting the whole molded unit black with a factory texture to it so it looks 100% factory. The screen will still be blue, but the whole ashtray unit will be molded into it. I will post pics when it is done, hopefully by tomorrow or Thursday. I'm excited!
