alright, i installed a new set of bulbs for my turn signals...and they blink super fast now...i actually kinda like it. but im wondering if this is bad for the circutry of my car, or the bulb itself...the bulb did not fit in all the way..only half way...could this be the problem? or maybe its just a higher or lower wattage bulb? so im wondering is it alright to keep this setup...they blink so fast i feel like the bulb will blow out just cuz its turning off and on so quickly.

pisses me off cuz when i first put in the bulb and tested it out, i used the hazard lights..and hazard lights blink normal..so i didnt find out about this till the fixture went back together and i started driving it -=z

ok i was told i prolly need an electronic flasher/blinker unit cuz im using an led bulb..cuz the blinker thing in the lexus is a thermal flasher unit. so basically i need to switch from thermal to electronic..and i think it just costs around 10 bucks...but i really dont mind the quick blinks...alright to keep it this way? could someone post an intricately detailed reply to how all this works..

You should put on your emergency lights, get out the car and check if all the bulbs are flashing.

enginyr those arent wedge bulbs...where did u want to use those for? the turn signal and break light is a wedge type bulb.

willard west, how are the leds comming along? where are you using them..break lights or turn signals? any problems at all with them?

tiny gs, im switchin my turn signals and break lights with them...so they flash dark red...

so far ive tried out 3 different red painted bulbs, and 1 led bulb...trying out a different led bulb in 2 days...ill write up a post with the results.
