SC430 Shift **** for GS!!!!!!!?
First of all, LExusRules posted a wild video in the forum. You guys should check it out!
Now about that shift ****. The SC430 **** is awesome!!
It looks perfect in the GS and it could be the best inexpensive upgrade yet!!
Question is, does the wood come in the same colors as the
GS's wood? And how much is it. How about a group buy!
Next time you guys are at the dealer, take a look. Its got a great feel to it also.
Also, I hate to say this, but the interior of the new ES 300 blows away the GS's at half the price. Thats sad. I think that when it comes to keeping up with the trends, the GS is lacking big time in technology, exterior and interior looks. Even performance is nothing to brag about anymore. They better do a big "freshening up" next year or no one will buy.
But, I'm sure that when the all new GS comes out, it will destroy everything in site. Just like it did when it first came out in late 97.
When is the new one coming out and does anyone have any pics or info on it?

You apparently never driven the 2002 ES 300. I had one for a loaner. Here are just a few of the issues I have with the ES300. The center console armrest has very little padding compared to the GS. In fact it hurt when I put my elbow down on it to fast. You could feel the hard plastic underneath! Turn on the Windshield Wipers and the whole car shakes back and fourth to the wipers. Feels like you are sitting on top of a washing machine! The wood looks really cheap almost like plastic. The ride is not nearly as refined as a GS. Plus just forget about pickup.

And even the new ES interior doesn't BLOW away the GS's interior. It's luxurious and all but it's not sporty and doesn't give me a feel of the need for speed at all. It's got the cool new features and all, but please the GS was designed back in 97 and the ES is brand 2002 new. When the new GS comes out no one will say the ES300 interior SUCKS or anything, hey it's the car market. Improvement is needed.
