No, I don't have a CF hood, just wondering what you guys would do if you had one.
Does leaving it unpainted make it look rice?
Another option would be to paint it in a specific design, such as painting the outer sections of the hood starting at the line of the hood going diagonally up along that line to match the body color. Leaving the middle section bare CF.

Here is another alternative that a BMW owner did to his M3. He painted it a light tint of the same color of his car. Looks awesome to me!

I guess it really depends on the color of the car. I think it would look nice on a white, black, silver or blue GS to leave it CF. Almost any other color I would probably color match it to the car.

In this case the car is silver.

I don't have any pics of one done like that.
I wonder how easy it would chip off from being hit by stones because the paint would be so thin? Another thing to consider I guess for whomsover does this.
