How many of you have had ECM flashed for harsh 2-3 shift?

How many of you have had ECM flashed for harsh 2-3 shift?
I was just reading the TSBs for my 2001 GS300 on edmunds
i noticed this one

it happens that my car has this problem sometimes
it annoys me when the car jerks when i give it some light input on the gas pedal when its shifting from 2nd to 3rd gear
but since my car is out of warranty, i would probably have to pay for this done at the dealership
for those who have done it, is it worth it?
any real big improvements?
