My buddy owns a 2010 model Bimmer. The thing is consistently in the shop for repairs. I just don't trust Bimmers for *#@&

 

My 2010 RX 350 with 28000 miles in dealer service today for sounding like an old clunker when going over a rough road and seemed like there was lack of suspension. The result is I need a new universal joint.
And.....at same time I complained about a loud whirling type sound from rear that I thought was tires.....nope...need rear wheel bearing.
Not a happy owner.

 

honestly from being a previous BMW, Audi, Jaguar, Volvo, Acura, saab and currently a lexus owner, i find that i enjoy being in the lexus more than any of my previous vehicles... the lexus is the smoothest, quietest and exciting to drive, and ive had a few newer 3 and 5 series bmws, about 5 A4s from 99-05 and a6's and comparing all of those the GS is one hell of a smooth ride, even with 268k miles on it she still purrs like a kitten and roars like lion when i hit the gas pedal... its a beautiful car and for being a 98 everyone is still blown away when they guess its an 05
