Steve....Can you get the steel braided lines in a fairly short time? My breaks go on by next weekend.

Why would you want the rotors and not the pads?

Bit- Another post said that the TRD pads dust more than the stock pads. That may be a reason, and a reason I am considering doing the same.

Perhaps we should get Hawk to do some pads for the GS?

I was thinking the same thing about the TRD pads, I am spoiled by the ZERO-dust I get on my lexus pads, and I didn't want to totally reverse that by getting TRD pads...

...But Steve said, "TRD’s Performance Brake Pads is that they provide greater resistance to heat-related fade – experienced under severe braking conditions. Additionally, TRD’s pads offer reduced pedal vibration, increased pedal feel, minimum rotor wear, and silent operation. "

And now I think giving up dust-free pads for ALL THAT is worth it, don't you? I just wonder exactly "how much" dust they create under normal driving conditions.... maybe someone could show a pic of their wheels after normal driving for a 2 weeks (without washing the car or the wheel for that whole week ofcourse)

i was considering the EDC "green stuff" i believe it called, or even metal master that i used on my bimmer works wonders with cross drill and price is fair for the performance end of it.

the only reason i didn't get steve's set is because i wanted cross drilled, not slotted rotors..I'm waiting on my ebc pads and rotors! Lowest price I got to instal was $120 for 4 pads and 4 rotors..Parthenia and Reseda....anyone know a cheaper place?

I'll do it for $80. That's the lowest I can go for installation of "8" pads and 4 rotors

There're only 8 screws to un-bolt for the installation after you remove all wheels

A side question:

I heard the hardest part is to install the brake lines. Is that true?

YES. That's the hardest part. You have to tighten the connector just right w/o leak and you have to bleed the system after the installation.

Sorry man, I really want to help you on the rotor installation. But I do not want to risk my life for flying to L.A on any airplanes

Thanks for the six pack though

I ordered these from Steve and I should have them by the end of this week, going on next week. As soon as I break them in, I will let you know what I think of them coupled with my new Dunlop SP5000's to be installed...
