Default GS Owners Who Have An LS Or Planning On One

Hey I love my GS but that new LS is looking mighty nice. I've always thought that the LS was not a hip stylish looking car like the GS is but more of a conservative car for the older crowd. I'm heading over to the Philadelphia Auto Show this weekend to check the car out in full as well as others. Trust me, I'M NOT ready to drop my GS just yet. If I'm that interested in the LS, it'll be years down the road before I even consider getting one. I'm a start peeking through the '07 LS forums just to be nosey.

Am i old enough to own a 430? LOL I always see "older" people driving them around. Scary to think that such a big & powerful car in the hands of the elderly can cause a heck of alot of damage with "indefinite" status drivers licenses. I'd love to own an F1, but i may stop at the GS. Who knows though.

I am older - 58 - I came from a Mustang GT this Summer to an 03 430, I love it. It is a low mileage car and will never pass 50K before I move on. Unless Lexus puts something with a bunch more horsepower in the GS, I plan to gradually migrate to a LS 460 and then if all things go well a LS 600, trying to find them coming off lease or trade when they are a couple of years old. I still want to go fast and Lexus is making the new LS series as sporty as I need. Love that quiet luxury and the way to more of that is LS.

That's great, I hope when I get to that age I still have the nuts to be driving fast

Thumbs up

Well this is one of the many pics I took of the new LS yesterday from the Philly Auto Show. This actually is the LS600 Hybrid which I believe is availabe this Spring. Unfortunately the current LS460 still is RWD but Lexus does plan on releasing an AWD version of the LS within the next two years. Again I'm not ready to leave my GS for an LS quite simply because on $$$. I have not had my GS for one full year yet but I'm still keeping it and want to take it to it's fullest and truly enjoy it like most of you have been doing. It was a good show since it was my first in Philly and loved the Lexus exhibit and vehicles. But at the end of the day, I parked my freshly washed cleaned of road salt and brine car, I looked at it and said to myself "I gonna continue to love what I have and we'll see what happens in 2 or 3 years down the road".
