I've actually had both - started with the Greddy and after a big chunk was cracked off going over some railroad tracks by my (now) wife I switched to the TTE. Before I went to a full kit, the TTE was also ripped partially off by a series of mishaps including a large racoon, but it was more durable and IMO blended better with the setup you're talking about.

I don't have too many pics of the Greddy back in the day (it probably was mid-2002 when I had it on the car) other than the one with the train track chunk taken out of it.




My picture taking skills and equipment obviously improved since the Greddy pics, lol. TTE below - with these pics it's the third time the lip was (re-)attached and mostly molded in.

 

I vote TTE. Just goes a lot cleaner with stock sides and depending on your drop it can be pretty low as well. I just scraped mine on the driveway today and I would say that I am pretty experienced with lowered cars.

 

I like the TTE.

I had the Greddy and L-Tuned and you chan check the sig for what that looked like with L-Tuned drop. The drop on L-Tuned S/S is only about 1.2 inches and I had to be very careful not to scrape. I was in your exact position and went with Greddy for $$ reasons.

 

does anyone know how thick the GReddy lip is? My car's slammed on HKS coilover and it's about to snow here in Indy and I don't want to be a snow plow.

Go with Greddy, but if you want your car to looks its best, then go with TTE.
Just seems like everyone has it. That is one of the reasons why mine is still sitting in closet. I can't make up my mind between that or my explosion kit
