1300 Hp Gs400?
To make the story short and simple, I recently heard from a very reliable source that some guy in Japan has the fastest GS with 1300 hp!!! My initial reaction was that this guy is dreaming. What do you all think?
I thought that MO had the fastest GS ou there. Also my source had over 15 sports cars and had his cars published in different catalogues.
So any clues? lol

WHITEGS400,
It is most definitly possible with an Aristo V300. You have got to realize that the V300 shares similar attributes with the Supra Twin Turbo. I know that the engine's bottom end has to be fortified, i.e., JUN's internals w/ 3.3 liter displacement. The cams can be replaced with HKS exhaust cams (274) and the new Vcam (264). The factory twin sequential turbos have to be replaced with either a twin turbo manifold from GReddy or HKS. Turbo selection: twin T-66s, TD06s, HKS 3540s to push that much air. Once that is done, the most important link to make this power is the engine management. I believe the F-Con V-Pro is very formible. I heard stories of top Japanese tuners adding a reliable misfiring program... I think 100shot (or more) direct-port-injection NOS wouldn't hurt either.
However, the 4-speed auto tranny will not support that much power (max is at 900 to the ground according to Pat Barrett at Level10 when he took my V300 tranny apart). You would have to bolt in the 5-speed tranny or 6-speed (even more modification) with a robust twin or triple plate clutch.
I think this should do it.

most cars that have that much HP usually don't do so good in 0-60 and 1/4 mile.... that's not what they're aiming for.
I remembered the TopSecret 0-300 Supra (not the GT300 with the 3S, I'm talking about the RB one) does 1/4 around 10 sec, 0-60 around mid 4s, but the key is 0-300km in 24 sec.
high HP cars usually aim for top speed and the time it takes to get to the top speed. They're not 1/4 draggers.

So if someone was trying to improve their 1/4 mile time, what should they focus on if not HP?
Thanks,

hp is very important but how you decide to use it can very greatly.
With the right transmission and the way the performance curve is created, they can vary from very fast 1/4 mile to very good top speed. You can have 2 1000 hp Supras, but 1 does 1/4 mile in 7 sec and 1 does 210mph top speed. Probably can't have both.
ask v300 about performance stuff
