Default OMG HELP MEE with turn signal!!

I really need some help on this one! its way to cold for me to trouble shoot!
i was lacking options tonite, so i just pulled out the hazaRd fuse and drove home blinkerless!! My left signal lights just automatically continued to blink after work today!!! i dunno if it was an affect of the cold! or if i had a bad switch? or mabe the left signal wires are shorted somewhere!!!?? i drove to work and the blinkers were working fine! i left work at 7:30 and started the car!!! the blinker on the driverside just started to blink! so i was flippin the switch up and down and no matter what it wont stop blinking!!! i turned off the car and then armed and unarmed the alarm and started the car and it continues to blink once the key is turned into ignition. It just stays blinking!!!!
and i have no idea what the hell is the problem! and its way to cold to trouble shoot! i pulled the car into the shop started messing with the wires and it stayed blinkin, and a very funny thing was i tried to unplug the battary to reset everything (my last resort as we was closing the shop) and waited for like 2 mins plugged it back in but the radio stayed programmed? lol so i figgured nothing resetted?

any ideas would greatly be appreciated!!!! besides a short i can't think of anything esle to keep it stay blinkin! i could understand if it wasn't blinking but it wont stop blinkin! unless i take out the fuses blEhz

thanks in advance to anyone that can just reply cause this sukz!!!

They relay could be stuck. A relay is a mechanical part, it will fail after a while. Moisture and cold will accelerate that process. Maybe your relay was on it's last legs and the cold finally killed it? If you flip the blinker to the other side, do both flash?
