MikeGS4PE ,
Thanks for the reply. I just thought that it gets higher in price.. I paid around the same for my 15k service so I just thought that they would hike up the price on my next service..

I don't know what sort of inspection they do besides a visual ...
What kind of inspection are you mentioning GLOBE?
But oil changes run me about 45-55 depending on where i want to take it ...

The 60K service was quoted to me from 3 Lexus dealers at $1000. HA! F that. I called a Toyota dealer who would do it for $500. Then I decided to just order the parts from Carson and have my local garage that I use to it for $200.
These services are sooooo simple, there is no reason to drop $375. Take it to a good shop, keep your reciept and you still have your car in great shape, your warranty, and money in your pocket.

Why would you spend upwards of $50k-$60K on a car and then scrimp when it comes to $1K for scheduled maintenance?
I take it you buy your tires directly from Lexus for $300 a pop vs. buying them online for $200? Why not, if you buy a $50-$60K car. Just like paying $100 for an oil/filter change when I can have a local guy do it for $20. Maybe their relationship with the tire manufacturer gets me a new rubber compound, and I understand the oil companies sprinkle gold dust in the oil.
I am glad you showed me the error of my ways and how I have been 'scrimping' on things. I have to go now. I have an appointment with my Lexus dealer to give him the difference I paid for the car from list price. He deserves it.
