Can anyone help w/SRT intake install question? I'm stuck re vacuum hoses!
I'm all set with the larger hose, but the smaller doesn't seem to fit where the instructions say to place it. In fact, there is no nozzle at the location in the picture?
AHhhhhhhhhhhhhh! I have to leave to coach basketball and I can't drive the car!
Thanks in advance.

From the intake the center hose goes to a (for lack of the exact terminology) black colored sensor that is about 1 1/2" long and about 5/8" in diameter. There is a stock hose already there that needs to be replaced with the new hose. See pic for the sensor, mine was bolted down to the engine but wouldn't work that way with the SRT hose so I have it zip tied in place. Please excuse the dirt but it has been a really long winter here. The other two hoses for an '01 430 should be fairly self explanatory where they go.

Awesome! That picture and description did the trick...now I'm stuck at the very last
step...I have the intake installed, the cover on and the wiring done to the last wire, but the instructions show that Sensor 2 is a Black wire, but when I look at my harness, in the location specified, the wire is Black/Yellow. There is a Black wire to the left, but not where the instructions specify.
Should I connect to the Black/Yellow wire (believing that the LOCATION in the directions is correct) or the Black wire (believing that the COLOR in the directions is correct)?
Once I get this completed, I'm ready to crank!
Thanks for the response by the way - I really appreciate it (the directions imply that the sensor is attached to the engine, but like yours, my 2001 430's sensor was just flopping around (after removing the resonator). I purchased a plumbing support and bent it to support the sensor, and screwed the whole assembly to the block using one of the 10mm-head screw holes that the resonator used.

Thanks GWELEX - I finished at about midnight last night and drove around scaring....
the local wildlife with full throttle bursts to just slightly over the speed limit (X2).
I greatly appreciate the help and pictures - when you're stuck in the middle of a job, and the car is disassembled, there are fewer more helpless situations (wrt to automobiles) that you can find yourself in.
Best regards,
DD.
PS - damn, that thing is loud at full throttle my wife is going to KILL me - HAHA!
