Plexiglas light covers can be polished.....there have been a couple of threads regarding methods a month of so back. I apologize for not digging them up......the search engine here is underwhelming and I'm short for time this morning. I''ll see if I can dig 'em up later. One involved Supra lenses, one GSs. Both were absolutely day and night difference.

good,
the warranty is 4yr, or 50k miles, which ever came first. hate to tell you this, but it has expired.
mooretorque,
look forward tpo the info on the lens polishing..
eppan,
oh, i thought that you have hids
i guess they should replace the halogen if you have condensation. i know few cl guys have such prob in either fogs/hid, and they were replaced under warranty
the platium wheels( i am trying to keep a straight face as i type; jk)
, i would pay no more than $300-400. just do the math, you can get almost new chrome 17+tyres for ~$1k-1200. so you deduct the tyres, and the platniums are 16s. btw, do not mean to flame anyone with these wheels, just my 0.02.
long ago, my dealer had a new set of the platniums selling at $400.
will

The entire HID system costs around $3k but just the glass/plastic housing/cover part of the light costs around $600 for both sides.
I think that's what you need to get replaced, and I would go ahead and get the 2001 version of the housing if I were you since it has that cool blue-green tint in it.
This will not only solve your condensation problem, but it will also give you two brand new scratch-free lights.
Dealers tell you that its $4k to make it look like they spent a lot of money on you, I remember my service guy tried to write it out to my insurance as a $4,000 FULL replacement when it only needed the housings that cost $600...the insurance denied, but I think they would have agreed if it was only $600.
I dont have warranty left that's why I tried to do it through insurance. I think its a potential hazard to have water in your lightbulbs,....what if the bulbs burn out while driving at night on rural road during heavy rain...I could get in an accident and to avoid such an accident (and even higher costs for insurance), the insurance should fix my lights for me!

I have only had my GS4 for a 3 weeks so keep that in mined when I ask this question.
How do I know if I have the HID headlights? Are the HID ones the ones that look blue and have the self leveling system? I have also noticed some condensation in my lights, and if I have the $3000 HIDs I would like to get it fixed as well. I see GS4 headlighs on E-bay all the time for around $300, so I would guess those are not the HID lights?
Thanks,
matt

to fix your condensation problem (and to take care of the scratches), you don't have to get the entire HID system, just the outer lens, and that will cost you around $600 for both sides
and yes, HID are the blue ones, and it looks like you have HID from the picture you posted, once you see the difference between HID and non-HID lights its easily to tell them apart even if they are not turned on

Ok above is that post that mooretorque was refering to on the polishing of the plexi-glass on the headlights.. I suggest if you get your lenses replaced or polished then go out and get the Xpel (3M film) clear strips for the headlight covers.. Well worth the money!!
Hope that helps!

My dad had the same problem with his gs. The lights would get fogged up. He then went to a friend and the guy turned some tube into a different direction and the problem was solved. I think it was some exhaust tube which accidently was turned up instead of downwards. I am not exactly sure what the tube is but it solved the problem. Hope it works for u guys.
