Hi,

I recently bought my wife an iPod for her 99 GS400. When we attempted to plug the unit through the tape deck, we noticed a constant clicking sound, as if something was loose inside the deck. Audio is heard through the unit and the cassete adaptor is turning, so nothing appears to be broken.

I tried a regular cassette and it too did the same thing. Anyone have this problem? Is it correctable?

We have the Nakamichi sound system in the car, so I'm nota ble to use the Vaistech unit. For now, we're using an FM modulator, but I hate the audio limitations associated with it.

Hopefully, someone has a fix for the annoying click, as a sound system upgrade is out of the question at this point.
