CLK? Yuck. Huge heavy doors and worse (cheap looking) interior than the GS. The CLK55 is definitely fast though.
Good luck though.

did you look at the waiting list for the CLK55 yet?
it's long, took a friend of mine 1 month to get his CLK55 (and we have dealer connection, no waiting list, but the last time i heard, the waiting list was 6-8 months back)
get the clk55, definitely a better car than the clk430

A 1998 GS400 w/ 99k miles:
Im thinking $28k-25k due to the milage issue. If the CL members dont "Vulture" around your car and dismantle most of its upgrades , you might be able to get $30k.
But as Msray Posted "Am I asking to little or to much" under "https://www.clublexus.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=26625 There was quite a discussion about pricing.
I hope it helps, good luck!

Suggested retail represents the price a dealership might ask for this make and model vehicle. This represents a fully reconditioned vehicle in excellent condition with a clean title history. This retail price is not a trade-in or private-party value, but rather assumes that a dealer has absorbed the cost of making the vehicle ready for sale, reconditioning, advertising, sales commissions, arranging for financing and insurance and standing behind the vehicle for any mechanical or safety problems. Many late model vehicles at this price have passed an inspection program or carry a warranty. Actual dealer selling price may vary from this price.
JUST ADD ALL THE GOODIES AND HAVE A ROUGH ESTIMATE !!
GOOD LUCK !

$25K-Private party sale. Your better off taking the aftermarket stuff off 'cause it will not be worth anything extra to the average buyer-unless it's a kid.

According to cperez100 post, I was almost DEAD ON. Chances ar, no one is gonna pay retail value, youll be lucky if ya can find one, but your gonna end up dropping the price.
Again, your looking at $28k - $25k for the car WITHOUT upgrades.

Its almost backwards these days. When a 40 year old man comes to see your car he will probably pay 25k with mods or 28k without mods....I know it sucks but old people suck!
