I've searched through the forums for help and I do know the proper procedure for setting the seats:
Turn the key to the "On" position, adjust the seat to your needs, press and HOLD the Set button and at the same time press and hold either the 1 or 2 button until your hear a confirmation tone. Repeat same steps for the remaining choice, 1 or 2.
My seat memory used to always work, now, I can still set the seat manually, however the buttons don't work. In fact, the "BEEP" never beeps either. I would like to do some troubleshooting but I don't have the equivalent to the helmes or technician's book.
It's a 99.5/2000 GS300 silver on black. I'm thinking of start by taking the door apart and checking that the buttons are still wired up to something, i just don't wanna damage the car...
ALSO, steering wheel up/down stopped working, I saw the DIY fix for this online, just wondering if it could be related to the memory issue and where the fuse controlling this would be located?
Thanks!!
