fog light problem, please help!
okay, i bought a new pair of yellow fog light bulbs
MTEC 9006 Super Ion Yellow
I put them on today, and while my driver side works fine, the passenger side fog does not.
I already tried swapping out the bulbs, and it worked fine, and I even put in the older bulbs I had before and they worked fine in the passenger side.
Anyone know what could be the problem? I dont think it is the harness considering it works with the old bulb. This is really killin me here, I am stumped.
Any help is appreciated.

Dude, you already answered the question yourself.
1. You put in the new Mitec bulbs and one didnt work.
2. So you reinstalled the old bulbs and everything worked fine.
3. You installed a different set of bulbs and everything worked fine.
4. It plainly rules out the fact anything is wrong in the car or wiring.
I will let you draw your own conclusions from there.

that is correct.
however,
when i switch the "defective" bulb into the working driver side, it works fine.
I may just opt to return the bulbs and go with yellow lensed housings, but I would really like to figure this out.
Any other helpful tips?

Ok, you left that part out in the original post(or I misunderstood what you were saying). Check the terminal size on the new fog light bulbs compared to the old bulbs, if they use smaller terminals and the factory plugs have "opened" up a little bit inside, the combination of those two things may be causing a faulty connection at the harness plug.
To fix it, take a small screwdriver or something and gently bend the terminals on the inside of your factory fog light plugs "inwards" so they make better contact.
