Default LS430 6000k retrofit with black housing and smoked 3000k fogs complete *PICS*

Hey guys, I've been on CL for a while now in the ES300 forum but I'm still new to the 2GS forum. I've had my 1998 DWP GS400 for about a month an a half and I've already modded it. Since I did a projector retrofit on my ES, I couldn't stand the stock halogens that came with my GS. So I got some LS430 projectors and put them in. I also painted the housings flat black and then put some gray tint on the fogs to match, and cleared the turn signals. They're 6000k lows with 3000k philips ultinon d2r fogs. I'll let the pictures speak for themselves.

startup

heated up

the cutoff is a little crooked and the fogs are kind of scattered but i'm going to work on that

I'm going to wetsand my lenses over again. What do you guys think?

Nice. I guess it's kind of hard to get it to line up perfectly but that's only visible when you're upclose to walls or other cars. Take some pix of the output. I remember I saw an LS430 one time on the highway and the output was ridiculous.

I'm liking it alot. Great color contrast between the white/blue and yellow.

What kind of shrouds did you go with? E55? LS430?

I tried taking a few pictures of the output but they didn't come out very well. I'll play with the camera settings a bit and try again in a better area too.

Maybe if you go to a really dark area and turn off the flash on the cam.

ls430 projectors are nice. can we see some wide angle shots on how far these project out. i hear about 4 lanes across?

was it easy installing these? they seem to fit very well.

looking forward to seeing more pictures.
