I dont know about the NF210 (Normal Feel), but I have the GF210 (Grip Feel). the GF210 has a firm ride. I would think that the NF210 will give you that stock soft ride. (Sorry, I dont know about the Tein S. You may wanna check the suspension section of the forum.)

If you're changing the springs, then you may wanna consider changing to stiffer dampers (shocks) as well, so that you car does not become bouncy on the (stiffer) aftermarket springs' rebound. You'll spend a few hundred more, in addition to the springs, but several hundred less than getting coilovers.

Nice rims and car

Never knew that Tanabe had GF's. Anyway I'm going for DF's since I have 18's and the sidewall height of my Kumho tires are 35. So with that it equals large fender gap. The DF's I believe give you the largest drop out of the three types mentioned here. Will u be interested in the DF's too or soley the NF's?

I have the L-Tuned springs on my car, and they are great...maybe a little on the rough side with all the other suspension upgrades (sways, braces, etc.). However, by themselves, they were great...no as soft as the stock springs, but definitely not rough

How much drop does the DF give?

According to the chart on the Tanabe website, for the 98-05 model years, they claim 1.8" in the front and I think 1.4" in the rear. Suitable enough for me.

I would saver for coils. Just ride like a 4x4 for a bit longer. It's way worth it.

you are talking about the gs300 df springs. he has a 430, so his drop will be 2' front and 1.5 in back.

BAD RIDES you already asked this question a while back right?
the nf are more for comfort and you will have a small fender gap.

I have DF210s on my GS300 with one dead coil cut front and rear, the cars still rides near stock unless you run over something and the drop is enough for me til my car goes in for custom airride this fall.

I had the Tein S. springs and I loved the ride. I don't like the stiff ride personally. It did take away that floaty feeling. The down side is that there's hardly a noticable drop. I have the Diazens and my drop is at 2in after it settled.

just the rims and tires you have now made the most diffrence in ride quality. the bigger tire takes alot of the road feel away. lowering is not going to change much of what your ride is like now, just make a little stiffer and less roll.
