the ones pictured above are the cheap ones - don't buy them. buy the ones that look JUST LIKE THESE but have the rubber trim around the oval housings. then it will be truly like a stock replacement. if you purchase the ones w/o the rubber- it's going to have a gap.

also - you heard it here first - i earlier commented on how these would look great but just don't hook up the angel eye rings...

well - i changed my mind - hook them up - BUT HOOK THEM UP TO YOUR TURN SIGNALS!!!

Talk about something that looks WAY custom...

No these require 9006 bulbs. You have D2R bulbs.

Though they may look cooler then the stock GS HID, I don't expect the light output to be better then the stock HIDs with my McCulloch HID kit.

Is that from experience or are you guessing?

The picture I posted looks like a rendered ad picture. In the ebay ad, there is second picture

It appears to have the rubber around the lights. Without the rubber, I would expect water to seep into the engine bay and if that's the case I won't install them.

Olu,

I'm not speaking from experience or am I guessing. Look at the pictures below.

This one is approx $500 shipped:

And this one is $450 shipped.

Notice around the first one you have a rubber trim piece that goes around the circumference of each oval? The second does not have this rubber trim piece.

They're the same headlamp but one comes with the rubber trim and the other does not.

I say spring for the extra $50 and get the rubber trim.

I see what you're saying. I'm saying that the picture without the trim is an advertisement made by the seller, probably using product ad images. The picture with the lights lit up clearly has trim around them. I'll email the seller and ask what the deal is.

Thanks for such a tactful, convivial, and most importantly, constructive reply.

those things look cheap. Reminds me of aftermarket HONDA stuff. So I don't like them. If you like to put cheap stuff on your car YOUR prerogative....your the one that has to drive around with them. Not everyone has to like these. I'd personally laugh if I saw these on a GS..just my opinion.

Everyone is entitled to their own opinion. I don't expect everyone to like them, but why the provocative comments? I'm in the minority here, but I think body kits and rims over 18" adds nothing but bling. Most destroy the lines of the car and do nothing to improve the look, ride or handling. The GS is a sweet ride and it's pretty hard to make it look cheap.

I thought the LED tail lights looked cheap until I saw them installed on a car, now I love them. The picture of the lights installed on the silver GS look better then most retrofits I've seen and are light years ahead of the after-market lights I've seen on Civics and Accords.

Anywho, after I install the lights I'll post pics and you can have yourself a nice chuckle.

I don't know about light years ahead...These are for a civic

I don't think I've seen any q45 retro on a GS that I've liked...(again my opinion) who knows, maybe after you install these, I'll have a change of heart but I won't hold my breath
