Curious what the body shop did - replace the doors?

The darker mesh does look better to me. Also noticed you went with a darker, less reflective red for your caliper paint and black lettering.

I agree with Gill's suggestion and think your updated mock ups look much better with it dark.

I did exactly the same thing with the mesh on various parts of my GS... I got a closer-fit mesh and had it powdercoated in a black chrome color to match the badges on the back of the car. I did this for the grill, side vents on my kit and even replaced the mesh that came with my l-sportline bumper so it'd match the stuff up front.

With a really open mesh like that, make sure to consider whats behind it. I also painted some stuff behind my side vents so it wouldn't look odd.

Makes what could be overly aggressive more subtle IMO. Looks like the bodyshop did a good job!

Wish I could but have no idea... and my bodyshop guy didn't do it personally, once the mesh was cut and fitted he sent it out to a powdercoat shop he uses so he won't know.

Thanks again everybody for your input. Dave, where can I find mesh like yours with those small holes? I really like it. I was also thinking of changing the rear bumper mesh to black. What do you guys think about it right now, and how do you guys think it would look if it was black.

car is looking good, I also think it would look better with the mesh inserts matching the paint.
