Question Anyone with the newer SRT filter, take a look at this for me - Crimped?

Does your filter crimp like this? Is it possible for the air pressure (sucking?) to implode it like this?

I don't ever mess with the filter, except I have taken it off to push out the mesh back to the original shape a little.

I don't think it effects the performance.....just curious if others have experienced anything similar.

Make the most of your day off!

I've done another coat of Z1, Z2, and Z5!

Man, your car is just sucking in too much air!

It's not a problem...I ran cone filters in MUCH worse shape than that...

From the look of my filter, I guess I haven't pushed my car hard enough.

Really, you need to do at least 140 mph to break the car in!

Just curious what the difference was in the "newer" SRT intake?

Thanks.

The newest filters that SRT is using are the AFE ones. They are bigger than the first gen filters.
